So What, Who Cares?: Working Hard to Make You Laugh
Today Joy Behar appears in millions of households as the hilarious Co-Host of the popular daytime talk show The View and host TLC’s Late Night Joy, a cross between a traditional late night show and a reality show. But before she headlined those shows, Joy was a high school English teacher and single-mother with bills to pay who swallowed her fear, trusted her talent, and slogged her way up the late night comedy club circuit. She took a day job as a receptionist at Good Morning America and made the most of an opportunity with Steve Allen, and then made the most of the next opportunity, and the next…and she keeps working hard to make us laugh. In this speech, Joy shares her motivational message and uplifting personal story.
