Political leader, nonprofit CEO, author, and serial entrepreneur STACEY ABRAMS made history and captured the nation's attention as the first Black woman to become the gubernatorial nominee for a major party in any state, going on to win more votes than any other Democrat in Georgia's history. After eleven years in the Georgia House of Representatives, seven as Minority Leader, Abrams became the 2018 Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia. The race was one of the most-watched and closest elections of the year, and from it Abrams emerged a national political star. After witnessing the election’s mismanagement, Abrams launched Fair Fight to ensure free and fair elections.

Sought-out to speak everywhere from TED, where her talk has racked up over 1.4 million views and counting, to college campuses, to the Commonwealth Club, Abrams is a powerful and passionate speaker heralded for her candid insights on politics, leadership, social justice, entrepreneurship, and being a true force for change. As TIME wrote of her, "People tend to remember the first time they heard Stacey Abrams speak, and it’s easy to see why." Abrams' book Minority Leader: How to Build Your Future and Make Real Change, is a personal and empowering blueprint for outsiders who seek to become the ones in charge.

"Describe someone as 'commanding the room' and you generally conjure an image of gravitas–a man, likely white, in a suit, emitting soaring oratory. Abrams is... as likely to geek out about tax policy or Star Trek as she is to summon the spirit of justice. Yet when she speaks, all kinds of people–from black folks in rural communities to yuppie “resistance” moms around Atlanta to [a] crowd of rough-handed electrical workers–go quiet and listen. In a Democratic Party divided and desperate for fresh faces, Abrams is already becoming a national star."

"Stacey Abrams has everything you want in a candidate: a good legal mind, experience in governance, and a deep knowledge of poverty and hard work. If you read Minority Leader, you will discover she also has the superpowers of inspiring trust and knowing how to organize. You will have her as a friend, and you will want her as a governor."

Stacey Abrams' remarkable career accomplishments include:
- Abram's recently released book Minority Leader is the handbook for outsiders. From Abrams' experiences launching a company, to starting a day care center for homeless teen moms, to running a successful political campaign, she illuminates that finding what you want to fight for is as critical as knowing how to turn thought into action.

Minority Leader earned rave reviews, including the following from The New York Times: "Abrams's own grit, coupled with her descriptions of much stumbling and self-doubt, will make Minority Leader touch you in a way few books by politicians can. In fact, the last one to manage it--biracial, the child of divorce, raised with little money by a single mother--became our 44th president.
- In 2010, Abrams became the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and the first African American to lead in the House of Representatives.

- In her time as House Minority Leader, Abrams was heralded for her bipartisanship and strategic work preventing a Republican supermajority in the house. During her tenure, she stopped legislation to raise taxes on the poor and middle class and to roll back reproductive healthcare, and brokered compromises that led to progress on transportation, infrastructure, and education.

- Abrams has founded multiple organizations devoted to voting rights, training and hiring young people of color, and tackling social issues at both the state and national levels, including the New Georgia Project, Fair Fight, and Fair Count. She has also founded several successful small businesses, ranging from financial innovations to tech solutions for families.
