Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated standup comedian, actress, writer, producer. and director Amy Schumer’s combination of humor, authenticity, and advocacy fosters a genuine connection with audiences worldwide. Schumer is the creator, star, writer, and executive producer of Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, which won a Peabody Award, a 2015 Writers Guild Award for Best Comedy/Variety Sketch Series, the first-ever Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sketch Variety Series, and a nomination Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. Schumer’s Universal Pictures film Trainwreck (2015), dominated the worldwide box office as the hit summer comedy. She won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy and was nominated for a Writers’ Guild Award in the category of Original Screenplay. That same year, the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) honored Schumer with The Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy.  In 2016, she was nominated for a Tony for her role in Steve Martin’s Meteor Shower. Schumer’s three-part documentary series, Expecting Amy premiered on HBO Max, an intimate look at Schumer’s fertility battles difficulties while documenting the formation of her latest comedy special. She also premiered the second season of her Food Network cooking show, Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, with her husband Chris Fischer, an award-winning chef. Schumer’s first book, The New York Times bestseller The Girl with The Lower Back Tattoo, earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Album. Schumer also recently co-hosted the 94th Academy Awards alongside Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall.
