Cheryl Hines brings her star power and personal experience to healthcare events and fundraisers, and supports those doing the meaningful, difficult work of caring for patients in all stages

Two-time Emmy Award winner, actress and director CHERYL HINES is sought-after at healthcare awareness and fundraising events, as audiences connect to her authentic voice and shared experiences supporting a loved one living with a disease. Hines recently “delighted the maxed-out crowd” at St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation Luncheon in Tampa, showcasing her humorous, relaxed way of talking about the serious work of the hospital community - patients, family, caregivers and healthcare workers. Inspired by her nephew with Cerebral Palsy, Ms. Hines is a long-standing advocate and Board of Trustee of United Cerebral Palsy, an organization dedicated to supporting the CP community.  Her dedication is real, praising the families and healthcare teams who support those in need, which she again personally experienced during the difficult time her step-father was in hospice.  “I know that they are in the trenches doing the hard work every day. They're with the families and the kids and the teachers," she said. "It's easy for me to be inspired by them.” Hines focuses on the humanity and community through which patients find healing or coping to live full lives amid their diagnoses.
