Comedian ALEX MOFFAT – beloved for his uncanny impersonation of President Joe Biden on Saturday Night Live – has recently partnered with an Austin, TX public affairs office to elevate his philanthropic ventures, as reported by Axios. In addition to his flourishing comic and theatrical work, including films Susie Searches, Netflix’s Holidate and Someone Great, and Paramount’s Clifford, Moffat aims to use his voice and his platform for the causes he cares deeply about. Public affairs pro Frank Ward – a friend of Moffat’s from their time at Denison University – saying he’ll be working closely with Moffat, who joked to Axios, “I told him I really don’t want to have any affairs, public OR private. He assured me he doesn’t deal in those types of affairs. I said, 'Good. Because I love my wife. And I wouldn’t be comfortable with that.’”
After departing from SNL, Moffat continues to bring hilarity to speaking engagements (both in character and as himself) in programs including stand-up, impersonations, moderated conversations, and emceeing for memorable events.

He is best known for his impersonations of Joe Biden, Eric Trump, Mark Zuckerberg, Anderson Cooper, Joe Scarborough amongst others, as well as his prolific original recurring Weekend Update character ‘Guy Who Just Bought A Boat’.
Alex appeared in the indie SUSIE SEARCHES which recently appeared at TIFF as well as HOLIDATE for Netflix, the live action hybrid feature CLIFFORD for Paramount, SOMEONE GREAT for Netflix and the indie OPENING ACT. On the television side Alex will next appear in Bill Lawrence’s BAD MONKEY for Apple alongside Vince Vaughn. He can also be seen in Showtime’s BILLIONS. Alex has lent his voice as the role of JIMMY in Disney's sequel WRECK-IT RALPH 2 as well as the upcoming DARIA re-boot for Paramount. Spending the earlier years of his career in Chicago, he was a regular performer at iO and The Annoyance Theatre as well as an official acro-dunker for the renowned Chicago Bulls. He played in the Celebrity All-Star game in February 2020.
