As the youngest player to start a WNBA all-star game, and only the fifth player in league history to WNBA Rookie of the Year unanimously, Aliyah has impressed audiences fast rise to the top of basketball charts and many records during her first professional season. However, she is more than a once-in-a-generation athlete. Aliyah is already establishing herself as a leader in her sport and speaks on the importance of leadership and teamwork in a way that connects with any team. Boston, leading up to the WNBA Rookie of the Year award, has always stood out from the crowd. Aliyah Boston is a trailblazer in the new generation of athletes. At the age of 12, Aliyah and her sister Alexis moved to Massachusetts from their hometown St. Thomas, USVI to pursue their future in basketball. Aliyah went on to join USA’s national basketball team and became a McDonald’s All-American in high school. After high school, she played for four years at the University of South Carolina where she led their women’s basketball program to their 2nd national championship. Aliyah was recently drafted as the #1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft to the Indiana Fever.
Aliyah showcases heart and passion both on and off the field. She is a family oriented and community driven individual whose goal is to consistently give back.
