Taylor Cassidy speaks nationally for Black History Month & beyond
Content creator and activist TAYLOR CASSIDY is one of the most important Gen Z voices in social discourse surrounding Black history. Appearing on ABC News, Seventeen Magazine, Nickelodeon News (for which she received an Emmy nomination), Sirius XM, and more, Cassidy provides a fresh perspective on wellness, inclusion, and impact. She provides an opportunity to open vital conversations which, while often sparked during Black History Month, are vital to maintain year-round. Cassidy told Flaunt, “I make sure that Black culture isn't treated as a novelty or as a check box for diversity, but it's fluent and it's fluid.”
Spearheading social media, Taylor Cassidy is a content creator on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube teaching millions of unsung Black history figures accompanied by her quick wit and strong passion. Seen in her series Fast Black History and Black Girl Magic Minute, she uses her platform to advocate for inclusion, representation, and love for one’s culture.
By creating an open environment for discussion around self-esteem, and mental health, she’s earned a Streamy Creator Honor from Liza Koshy and listed as TikTok’s 2020 Top 100 under "Voices of Change: Most Impactful Creators." Generous with sharing her story on Black identity and finding her creative voice, she is passionate about encouraging others to dream bigger for themselves.
